Yikes! 22 weeks already? Technically it's 22 weeks 5 days which means that time is suddenly flying by like crazy. I guess the same thing happened with Aubrey, the first four months dragged and dragged and then the next five flew by. I feel like there is still so much to do. We need to get all of our closets and our garage cleaned out. The one down fall of having a lot of storage is that you have more place to hide useless crap and then forget about it. Obviously the baby won't care if our closets are a mess but I'd love to have our house in top shape because it will be one less thing that I have to stress about. We also have to start working on the nursery. The room that will be our nursery is currently my husband's man cave which is completely covered in Philadelphia Eagles colors and memorabilia. Oh and let's not forget about the huge television on the wall where he plays video games. Yes- I'm married to that guy. Hopefully on Thursday I will get a definite conformation on the sex of the baby so that we can decide how we want to decorate. The room that I have in mind right now is kind of gender neutral so if we aren't able to find out if it's a boy or a girl I think it will still be okay.
Physically I feel good. The baby is kicking like crazy and the other day I was actually able to see my stomach move. Unfortunately the only person around was Aubs and she just looked at me like I was insane. The baby has also been my alarm at night if I roll a little bit too far over on my stomach. As soon as the little bean feels too much pressure it kicks me to let me know. As far as eating goes, I have been trying to eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies but i have also had a sweet tooth lately. I may have made Joe run to Dairy Queen a couple of times last week to get me a confetti cake blizzard.

We find out the sex on Wednesday... And I haven't felt any kicks yet but I'm excited to feel them soon.
ReplyDeleteA Dairy Queen confetti blizzard sounds amazing... You've inspired me. Noland & I will be hitting up the nearest DQ tonight.. unless I get antsy and go for lunch. haha
Wow i is flying by. I have so much to do to get ready for our little one too. Love that dress!
ReplyDeleteI tried that blizzard yesterday and didn't like it.:( I'm feeling that urge to get stuff all cleaned and organized. And I'm close to being able to work on the baby's room. Someone is coming to buy the elliptical today..
ReplyDeleteIf it's a boy, you could always leave the Eagles room up! That way I'm sure Joey would volunteer for all the nightly feedings lol
ReplyDeleteI totally know whatcha mean about wanting everything clean and organized beforehand. It just feels so much less stressful to have it all taken care of. And confetti blizzard? DUDE.
